If anyone at Best Buy is reading this, do you guys have any idea when you will be re-stocking on Canon 5d Mark III's? There isn't much in ways of a notication system at the moment.

Are you only checking online or have you tried to order from the stores as well? Online website and stores use separate warehouses so when one is sold out there may be stock from the other. I am checking online regularly throughout the day and have been to a few stores as well. What the online stock shows has been fairly accurate to what two seperate Best Buy stores have told me.

I checked online as well as "store pickup" and only one store in my entire state had 1 left in their inventory, but that store was way too far. Then the closer Best Buy stores told me about that one store as well.

I asked both stores if they could order it, and they said they were unable to. Does Canon have the serial numbers printed on the outside of the 5DM3 boxes?

If so, you might want to skip serial numbers 1 and 2 to avoid exposure issues I believe they are only on the camera itself. I believe the light leak issue found on the "1" and "2" 6th digit serial stock market overreact pdf is the reason Best Buy ran out of stock fairly quick So I'm assuming whenever Best Buy resumes their stock on 5D Mark III's, they would not be the 1's and 2's.
